This originally post in 2011 after a Stargazing event.
This is just to let you know how cool and fun it is.
Come to our next Stargazing For Everyone this Saturday, March 31, 2012!
More info for this years event here.
Man, this group never fails to disappoint. 200 kids brought their parents to this wonderful show last night at San Tan Mountain Regional Park. The pre-show was almost as good as the main. As the group were setting up their telescopes and getting them calibrated/positioned they offered a glimpse into the heavens. I got to see Saturn in the daylight! That’s a sight I never thought I’d get to see!
Stargazing For Everyone, LLC. comes out a couple of times a year and it’s always a fun and informative show for young and old alike. It’s a great way to spend an evening out with your family. The show started at 7:30 and went to a little after 9 but many people were there early to check out the beauty of the park… while it’s still cool enough to do during the day :)
At the end of the show Stargazing for Everone, LLC let those with digital cameras take a shot through the telescope at Saturn. I told them I know nothing of the manual setting for my ancient Kodak. Apparently that was a good thing; they just let it go on automatic settings and this is what I got to take home as a prize. Saturn.
